30 weeks

How far along: 30 weeks (what?!?! how?!?!!)

Baby’s size: Large Cabbage / over 3 pounds / 15.7 inches

Total weight gain / loss: +35.8 (almost positive I remember correctly from this morning)

Maternity clothes: My choices are maternity clothes or Mike's t-shirts.  ;)

Stretch marks: None yet.

Sleep: Meh.  The night pees of first trimester seem to have returned.

Loving: The fact that it's June and that means summer is just around the corner!

Loathing: SOL schedules - the days have been hard and long the last two weeks with altered schedules that often leave us with 3 hour long periods with students, one 28 minute planning period, etc.  That schedule is tough for any teacher, let alone all the pregnant ones in the building.  ;)  Let's just say I know I'm not alone in saying I can't wait to get back to a normal schedule next week!

Missing: Being able to get out of bed or off the couch without significant effort.  Ab muscles pushed up and out of the way by baby = me staying in a position once I'm there.

Movement:  Oh how I love those baby kicks!  There is nothing cooler or sweeter in the world.

Cravings: GIVE ME MORE MILLLLKKKKK

Aversions: It's not an aversion persay, but I'm really not enjoying fish lately.  Or bananas (unless they're mixed in a smoothie or something).

Labor signs: None - and I don't think the Braxton Hicks contractions from last week were actually BH after all.  Perhaps something more like indigestion.... lol

Symptoms: My feet and ankles are so swollen at 30 weeks that I'm scared to know what 40 weeks will look like.  Feet and back are quite achy, especially after standing for long (okay, medium) periods of time.  The acid reflux continues along with my love of milk that soothes it.

Exercise:  Yoga and one run - didn't stay as on top of it this week as I have been.  It's hot and I'm a wuss... :/  Honestly, I think missing two of my runs this week contributed to my lower energy and eventual meltdown of emotions by last night.

Belly button: Still an official innie, but seriously we've got to be DAYS away from the pop!

Wedding rings: It was a good thing I took them off of these sausage fingers when I did...

Mood: Most of the week was good, I had decent energy and was excited to work on nursery stuff in the evenings.  Last night was really hard though - it was just a long day with too many small stressors for a pregnant girl to handle.  :)

Husband: Is being put hard to work - the nursery is really coming together!  He's spending evenings doing things like hanging shelves to make his nesting wife oh so happy.  :)

Can't wait for:  Baby shower, baby shower, baby showerrrrr!!!!!!!!!!! (GENDER REVEAL!)
